For nearly 43 years, our Florida team operated out of our office on Drane Field Road in Lakeland. Growth over the years based on the trust of loyal customers, expanded customer base, and dedicated efforts of our employees created the need for expansion and a modern state-of-the-art facility located on South Pipkin Road in Lakeland. This new space allows us to improve our services, embrace new technologies and offer innovative solutions to our customers. It rewards our hard-working, dedicated employees, and it will attract the type of talent who shares the same values and beliefs. Congratulations to our Florida team on this exciting new chapter!

We are thrilled to announce that Stephen Bagley will be joining Vogel Bros. as a Youth Carpenter Apprentice! We celebrated with an official signing day to kick-off the start of an exciting journey! Stephen will be working on the Deerfield Middle-High School all summer and into his senior year. He will be helping to build the very school he and his classmates attend. Welcome to the Vogel Bros. team, Stephen!

It has been a busy couple weeks at Deerfield Community School! The Deerfield Community School District was one of 18 selected for a generous $25,000 grant from the State towards the creation of a clean fabrication lab to put towards their tech ed space remodel. Last Friday, a Deerfield HS Construction Class joined our project team for a Fall Protection Safety Stand-Down. Thank you to Patrick at 3M Worker Health and Safety for leading the Fall Truck Demonstration! And yesterday, Deerfield students, staff, and community members gathered to celebrate a milestone for the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Middle-High School Remodel! This includes a 72,000 square foot addition and 101,500 square foot renovation of existing spaces. The remodeled school building, to be complete in the fall of 2026, will support 6th grade through 12th grade students. Last week I had the pleasure to be part of a Ribbon Cutting at Event Essentials new warehouse facility. Those moments are bittersweet for me and our team. We love to build facilities that enhance the lives of people in the communities we serve, but it's the relationships made over the years planning and building a facility that make the process special. Thank you to the Event Essentials team for letting us be part of that process!

Pete and David Vogel were honored to speak at the Goodman Community Center's 70th Birthday Celebration last week. As long time supporters of the Goodman (Atwood) Community Center, Vogel Bros. is proud to have also built the Ironworks and Brassworks buildings. These spaces provide opportunities for children to play, prepare teens for employment, careers, and college; provide adults struggling through hard times access to food; and serve as a gathering place for seniors seeking friendly company. Vogel Bros. Florida Division has seen steady growth over the last decade while servicing the Florida Water/Wastewater market. We have developed a new Director of Operations position to allow us to better serve our staff and clients. When filling this position, it was important to find someone who has been instrumental in our sustained growth over this period.
